Present Ideas For Bridesmaid gifts For

Say thank you to your bridesmaids and groomsmen with a little token of your appreciation. Get the gifts right with some of our suggestions.

Ladies First

Bridesmaid’s gifts don’t have to break the bank. It’s not about being extravagant – it’s about being thoughtful. By the time you come round to buying these little presents your budget will no doubt have been stretched to its limits so the more creative and the more economical the ideas the better!

A Personal Touch
Engraving or embroidery is the way to go. Putting her name and/or your wedding date on the chosen gift will add that extra special personal touch and make the gift all the more memorable.

But what should you engrave or embroider? Well there are lots of options out there.

The traditional option is a handpicked item of jewellery. A necklace that can be worn on the day itself is a great idea. Budget about £30-£75 and pick up something that will suit all skin tones. A silver chain with a Swarovski crystal detail is a perfect idea – it’s feminine, expensive-looking but surprisingly affordable.

Remember that you can personalize anything. Candles, wine glasses, stationery, dressing gowns, towel sets or a fountain pen. It all depends on how much you have available to spend and what you think the lucky ladies may like.

Ease the Stress
Your bridesmaids have been involved with the wedding preparations since day one. They have attended numerous dress fittings, advised you on all aspects of the ceremony and been a shoulder for you to cry on. By the time the big day rolls around you could forgive them for being stressed and in need of a treat. A spa kit is the perfect present!

Gather a bunch of products including perfume, manicure sets, facemasks, salt scrubs, revitalizing foot cream and hair treatment oils. Package them in gift baskets, tailoring each parcel for each bridesmaid. This is a grand gesture that every girl will love.

Other Ideas
If none of these ideas appeal, don’t be afraid to keep things simple. A big box of luxury chocolates or a large bouquet of flowers will go down a treat and will let them know how grateful you are that they could share in your special day.

The Groom should also give a small gift to his groomsmen. They have been supportive, selfless and deserve a present. If you are at a loss about what to give, read on!

Happy Campers
Gifts of flowers and chocolates just don’t cut it with groomsmen. But a practical gift and one that appeals to the boy within just might be a winner! The following are economical solutions to the present dilemma!

How about giving a Swiss Army Knife? This might just be one idea that you might want to adopt as your own. Not only is it practical but also, once monogrammed, a personal present that will be both remembered and used forever!

If that isn't quite right, get them a gift that they can also take anywhere on their travels - a product packed shower bag. Pick up some good quality shower bags and get them monogrammed with initials. Then head to a department store or chemists and pick up travel sized bottles of top named grooming products. You want to wow the men so steer clear of bog-standard brands. This is both a practical and luxurious treat that won't fail to impress!

Splash Out
If your budget is big don’t be afraid of splashing out on your Groomsmen. They will definitely appreciate it! They have been a rock during the last few months and deserve a big treat. Budget about £40 per person and head to the high class shopping streets to pick up something extra-special.

A few ideas that might work include buying a bunch of leather wallets for them or heading to a watch retailer to get a monogrammed pocket watch or perhaps silver cufflinks. All gifts send a message of thanks to the Groomsmen and the generosity of your gesture will not go unnoticed!

It’s important to say thank you to those friends and family members that are joining you on your Big Day. Don’t fret about the actual value of the gift you are giving – just give with love and thanks and don't forget to enjoy your special day!
